When my brother-in-law Robson Santiago sent me the lyrics of "Noite Branca," I immediately heard a modinha in those words. As I began composing, I made some changes to the lyrics, including a new section that created an ABA form. Marcella and Henrique brought the music beautifully to life, including his improvised interlude and embellished harmonies.
